No strictly endemic species of Eswatini are currently recorded
Note that no animal or plant species are recognized as strictly endemic to Eswatini (that is, found only inside the country’s political borders) by major sources such as IUCN, GBIF, SANBI, or recent local surveys. Understand why this happens. Eswatini is small and sits inside larger, shared ecoregions. Many plants and animals found in Eswatini also occur in adjacent parts of South Africa and Mozambique.
